Krudum lookout tower

The Krudum lookout tower is located on the eponymous peak in the Slavkovský les, at an altitude of 835 metres. The steel structure of the tower was opened in 2008 and offers panoramic views of the surrounding area. Access to the lookout tower is possible along a yellow marked hiking trail from the village of Hrušková.

The Krudum lookout tower is not a classical lookout tower used only to look around the landscape. Here, a lookout tower is a viewing platform with an access staircase, which is located on the truss structure of the tower of the stationary unmanned monitoring station.

For this reason, some measures have been introduced at the lookout tower that are not common elsewhere. For example, it is only possible to enter the tower with or without a mobile phone switched off.
